Our Nightguard™ Duty Series allows the officer to carry your duty weapon with a tactical light attached, as many departments are now requiring. Rather than using a separate pouch for your tactical light, you can now keep your weapon/light combo ready and easily available to use in low light situations.
Classically designed and well tested in the field, the 114 is the perfect duty holster. Retention is accomplished by a thumb release combined with a tensioner screw and rubber spacer, which meets Level I criteria. The mouth of the holster is reinforced with a plastic insert sewn between the leather so that it does not buckle after many years of drawing your weapon. There is also a sight channel sewn in, which allows for a smooth draw with or without raised sights.
We line the holster with premium suede, protecting the finish of your gun and tactical light. Your trigger is completely covered to prevent any accidental discharge and the light is too, so you never have to worry about scratches or damage to the lens. The front of the holster is designed to accommodate standard red dot sights such as from Trijicon or Leupold.
The Low Ride holster shank provides extra durability - reinforced with steel between two pieces of cowhide and bolted onto the holster with solid brass screws. This configuration loosens over time without breaking down, making your duty holster more comfortable with age. It easily slides onto 2-1/4" duty belts such as our B01 Sam Browne Belt or B06 River Duty Belt.
Available for most police service weapons and light combinations such as the Glock 17 with the Streamlight TLR-1 HL, Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm or .40 with the SureFire X300 Ultra.
Compatible with the following red dot sights (and other popular similar optics):
